| The chorus performs a wide variety of music
styles in 4-part harmony a cappella barbershop style. Our
energetic family-oriented showstyle is designed to entertain and put your
audiences at ease. Our MC's add dialogue between each song as introductions where needed. This might be a story line to tie them all together or a simple introduction or even a joke. Our repertoire and script can easily be adapted
to fit your audience and event. If you wish to hear a sampling of our sound we have CDs, DVD, cassettes and VHS available on request. Or you can visit a rehearsal or check our performance calendar and come to a performance. If you have any questions not answered here, please email: info@tcshowchorus.org.

Stage & Performance Checklist
---
To make sure your audience is thoroughly entertained, please discuss this checklist thoroughly with our Performance Manager so there are no surprizes.
STAGE + RISERS + SOUND NEEDS: STAGE SPACE for risers and front-line choreography. The chorus can perform on a flat surface, although this is not the most desirable. Optimum sound requires chorus risers. Full chorus needs a minimum of 7-sections of 4-step Wenger risers with back rails. Minimum floor space needed for 7 risers is: 20-feed deep, 45-feet wide, and 12-feet floor-to-ceiling height with a little extra space between the risers and any sound equipment or the edge of the stage for front-line choreography. The chorus will bring its own risers, props and set decorations when required. If your facility already has risers or a sound-shell that we can utilize, please let us know. Smaller groups can get by with fewer risers. SOUND SYSTEM requirements depend on the size of the hall and audience. Please let us know if there are microphones (on stands - not podiums) already available for MCs and quartets. The chorus will perform outdoors (weather permitting) but will need an outdoor sound amplification (PA) system. Please inquire whether electrical outlets/power is needed. RECORDING THE PERFORMANCE- If there are plans to record this performance, all ASCAP/BMI and other copyright fees and permissions must be taken care of and discussed with the Performance Manager well in advance. CHANGING - WARM-UP ROOM away from the stage area where we can warm up voices as a group prior to the performance and change into costumes. It would be nice to have somewhere that we can lock up valuables as well, but if neither of these is available, the chorus needs to know ahead so we can plan accordingly. MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS, STAGE CURTAIN, STAGING OR PROPS- are rarely required. If needed, we will request them or provide our own. QUARTETS are not always available. If you specifically wish a quartet to be included in your show package, request that up front, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
